After A Long Time

I’m just tired of writing articles that starts with “it has been a long time etc.”.Because i dont like writing so much.Anyway i’m trying to write as soon as i have free time.

So… There are a lot to write.

Lets get started with my first application for Maemo OS.It’s a simple application that calculate degree of a right triangle with a two given data.After a couple of “Hello World” application i just wanted to do something myself.Then this application came up.Infact this is not something new i generally use that right triangle angle calculator function when i learn a new programming language and if i dont have any software ideas.

And… It has been almost two months that i spent with The Nokia N810 tablet.I’m thinking to write a summary of my experiences with this device.Maybe that may help maemo beginners to use their devices with its all capabilities.

By the way i had a problem on my n95 8gb.It was always asking date and time after every restart.I had asked about this on so many discussion board.They said that i had to change its capacitor which saves date and time and i didnt do that.But however after a month it fixed itself i guess . It keeps date and time data now.

And.. i had a problem about 3d problem about my ATI video driver.It was causing errors in all 3d softwares such as 3dsmax , NaturalMotion etc. Last weekend i figured out how to fix this problem.i found  that error is happening on firmwares newer than 5.3.1. anyway …

You know i was going to interact my arduino with N810.After a long tiring hardship , I found that my hand-made arduino is not one of the supported devices and that project turned into a disappointment :(.This disappointment cost me about 15bucks , I wish I had bought that roll-up keyboard instead of that usb-serial converter .

By the way, I designed a wrist-case for n810 which I inspired by computer of the orion hacker in chuck the tv serie.I didnt make it.But i make another case to protect screen against stylus-scratches.Because it may cause serious scratches when you try to draw pictures or something in MyPaint or GIMP.

PyGtk Code Snippets On Xournal

Hi Again,

It has been almost two weeks that i got my new Device which is a N810 Internet Tablet (aka NIT ,Webpad).

You know i develop mobile apps. for Nokia’s  Smartphones Especially for Symbian ones such as N95 , N81 , N79 etc.

Nowadays ,I’m working on pymaemo which is maemo version of Python Programming Language.It seems, i have a lot to study.Because the Main User Interface is totally different from the way it was on Symbian Phones.

This weekend i have started to study and practise PyGtk+.I’ve already made a couple of  “Hello World!” Apps.But As you may know , that’s not enough for developing useful projects.

By the way , the educational capabilities of this device makes it really easy , when you start something to learn.In my opinion,it is even better than kindle.

You can read Pdf books on it with its high screen resolution.And you can take notes on Xournal Application which i use for collect code snippets.

As you may know ,I am working on arduino microprocessor to learn electronics.As i got the n810, i can connect arduino to n810 with its Usb-Host-Mode capability.As soon as i get the usb input to output converter i will start working on serial connection between arduino and n810

Usb Mouse + Virtual Dj = Dj StratchTable

You know it was possible to stratch with mouse wheel with virtual dj.What if we use this mouse wheel mechanism to make a dj stratch table.

My First StopMotion ShortMovie:Save The Forests

You know the “Chicken Run” Movie which was about chicken that is trying escape from the farm.Yep, that’s what i’m talking about.

i was working on 3dsmax modelling while i was watching that movie.i spotted something that movie is 3d but it’s not looking like a computer rendered graphic.i searched around the web if there is any renderer plugin or smt. like for 3dsmax.

then i encountered another movie making method which is called as stopmotion.then i wandered and researched on that.and i found a software called as animator dv that make stopmotion movie making easy.

after first 2-3 practice.this short movie came up.

infact that was not my point to make a video which says save the forests.u know southpark intro,which scissors cuts papers and characters comes up.i tried to make a movie like that but i noticed smt. that i was trying to make it with a piece of paper from notebook.but in southpark they were making it with carton material.so it’s hard to move papers per frame.

and there was scissors and a piece of paper on the table.then another idea come to my mind about making a movie looking like pacman but this time pacman will be the scissors and the enemy will be paper.

this week we was studying on neural system at school.and i ask my teacher to make 3d interactive learning guide as a homework to get high mark addition to bio. exams:).And teacher accept it and gave me that homework.

today , i make a intro video for this software.but i know ,it still needs improvement

Elvis Presley - Fever (Flash 8 Lip Sync. Practice)

I tried to make a flash lip sync. animation with one of cartoon characters that i drew .In this animation the cartoon character is singing Elvis Presley’s Fever Song.

By the way,there u will see a text banner under video which is “complexstudios.net.tc”.it was one of my old website that i share my works on.

ps:i didn’t use any third party lip sync. software like crazytalk etc.

nGun First Beta Version Released!

Accelerometers are becoming more and more ubiquitous, motion technology is everywhere, mobile phones, computers even washing machines now contain accelerometers and motion based technology is truly everywhere.

The nGun is the latest application for accelerometer equipped phones and it definitely isn’t the most useful one, it is not even aimed to be! This one is just for one, a little application that uses motion technology on a bit different way, another cool thing to show off and to impress your friends and colleagues with your mighty phone.

The idea behind application is quite simple, it detects two different movements and play the appropriate sound, something like the light sabre application. When you rotate your phone’s nose up it will play a gun shooting sound but when you rotate your phone to left it will play the clip charging sound.

u know latest version of the alertme was 2.0 and decided to make a new version that nobody will need to use any of that modifications of alertme.
in this version u can change.so i added lots of features to let u personalise alertme.lets see new features

New Features:
Background is able to change.
Alerting sound is able to change.
You can set the volume of the sound alert.
Alerting with an sms
You can set the delay time to alerting for writing password.
Icon added.
You can choose sms alert or sound alert(or both of them.) from on/off menu.
You can activate or deactivate password protection from on/off menu too.
You dont have re-write all setting in every running of app.
